I've Still Got It!

The Moojalsky luck that is!
It's something my family jokes about all the time and really if you heard my families story I think you would agree that we really do have bad luck following us around.
Well, I've still got it! I changed my last name and everything but I guess I will always be a Moojalsky.
Today after we finished dinner a crazy hail storm happened! Of course our car was parked on the driveway, exposed to the tennis ball size hailstones, and it has the scars to prove it. We are actually glad that it was on the driveway and not the street because there was a small tree that probably protected it a bit. So the damage could have been worse and we are grateful it's not.

Our poor windshield. We had to replace it less than a year ago.

Please don't over look the beautiful dents all over!

After the storm had passed.
To be totally honest I have to admit that as much as I say the Moojalsky's have bad luck I really do think we are so lucky! We have our share of trials but we are always blessed with the strength to get through them and I couldn't ask for more!

Baby Poll!

Dear friends and family,
If you're reading this you HAVE TO click on the link below and make a guess. The more guesses, the more fun it will be. Maybe I'll even come up with a prize for the winner!

And if you want to place a guess/suggestion (we need all the help we can get!) for what it's name might be go ahead and leave a comment here.

37 weeks

How far along? 37 Weeks, 2 Days
Total weight gain/loss: 30lbs??
Maternity clothes? All I wear are skirts these days. They are the only comfortable thing I have. I'm also starting to feel like I'm growing out of some of my shirts!! How can this be happening? Am I really that big?... obviously.
Stretch marks? I do not think so! Hallelujah!
Sleep: It's actually been pretty good. I think this baby is just tiring me out during the day so that I'm exhausted when bedtime comes and I just zonk out!
Best moment so far: Finding a place in Saskatoon and knowing that when we go back we'll be bringing a baby!
Miss Anything? I just miss not being pregnant. I've been pretty sore lately and I'm excited to just be comfortable in my body. There are also things like being so far away from Mark when we hug and not being able to hold my nephews on my lap because they're too far for my arms to reach. Stuff like that. I think I'm ready for this baby to come only because I'm so ready to not be pregnant!
Movement: It definitely hasn't slowed down that much. It still moves a lot and I wonder if I'm going to dealing with jabs to the ribs while I'm having contractions...
Food cravings: Watermelon. And ice chips.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope
Have you started to show yet: I'm huge! And this time I really mean it.
Gender prediction: I keep dreaming it's a girl... I'm excited to create a baby poll and see what you all think!
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? Out!
Wedding rings on or off? On! I'm going to go all the way!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Words of Wisdom: Take more pictures!
Looking forward to: Sleeping in! No more work! And doing some summer stuff like camping and swimming. I'm also excited to start getting things ready for this baby to come.

Summer Lovin! ...

Part 2

That Sunday Mark, Emily and I got to take a quick trip up to Calgary Children's Hospital to visit Natalie. We were all pretty excited to be together and Mark was anxious to see this incredible hospital. We got there  around noon and just hung out in her hospital room (except for dinner). It was crazy how we didn't need to be doing anything to enjoy being together. The day went by so fast!

Mark and I have also been working on my Gran and Grandpa's deck. It's a huge deck and we've been working on it every free evening we get. It's been keeping us busy especially because this pregnant lady isn't the most efficient worker. I'm excited to get it done though, it's going to look so awesome! There will be before and after shots once we finish.

Last weekend was an exciting weekend! Mark and I drove to Saskatoon to go house hunting! We left late Friday morning after realizing that Mark left his wallet on top of the car when we had filled up the night before. The drive was better than I had expected it to be. I did come prepared with a couple pillows and lots of snacks which helped.
Mark's first time in Saskatchewan and the only picture I took that weekend.
We made it to Saskatoon around 6:15 and we had a place lined up for us to look up at 7 so we went straight there and drove around the neighborhood a bit. It was scary! Well the neighborhood wasn't too bad, but once we were shown the apartment we were both so discouraged! It was one that was at the top of our price range and it was not a place I was willing to be in without Mark. Obviously not going to work for us. We were staying with Logan and Sarah Orr, who by-the-way were the greatest hosts ever! We headed to their place and starting looking for new places to look at with a new budget in mind. It was stressful! I wasn't sure how we would survive if we were going to pay over $1,000 for rent!! I finally came to the realization that we would have to live in a basement suite. I have a hard time not being able to see outside or get any sunlight. Our first place was like that and I often would just go sit in the car in the driveway because it had WINDOWS! I didn't like being home very much...which was kinda hard, but Logan and Sarah are in a basement suite with good sized windows and I was hopeful...or hoping we would be able to find something like that.
Friday night Sarah and Logan took us to a festival down by the river. Different restaurants had set up booths and prepared little tastes of their menus. It was pretty cool but I have to admit I was definitely still stressed out about finding a place that I couldn't really enjoy it.
Saturday had been full of places to look at but after Friday nights experience we had cancelled some of our appointments that we knew would be similar and we couldn't seem to find ones to replace them. Saturday morning we only had 2 appointments lined up and 2 basement suites that we wanted to look at but weren't available that weekend. One of those places was being completely renovated so we couldn't see it but it sounded nice so we went and drove by to see what we could see. I fell in love! The neighborhood was beautiful! A block from the river. Lots of trees. And there was a small family going for a walk down the street. Plus the windows looked big! I felt hopeful after seeing that and I wanted it. I sent the landlord an email when we got back asking if we could come take a look just to see the layout of it. He was nice enough to let us stop by while he was working on it. It was the last place we looked at on Saturday and we both fell in love. The best part is it's in our original price range. It's small but nice...well we think it will be, once it's all done. They just had drywall up when we saw it. We told him before we left that we wanted it... and then there was the waiting. He needed to look at our application and talk to our references before we could give him a deposit to hold it for us. So Sunday morning we drove home WITHOUT a place, hoping that we would get approved... but we got it! We found out Monday afternoon and we are both so excited. Since there isn't any storage, this week I've been trying to find ways to fit all of our stuff in there.
All in all it was a good trip out there. We enjoyed being in Saskatoon and getting a feel for the city and we really enjoyed staying with Logan and Sarah. Thank you so much for all your help! You guys are the best!

This weekend was Ryenn's Birthday.
  Happy Birthday Ryenn!
We are all so glad that she has come into our family. She is the sweetest, most adorable 2 year old girl I know and we love her very much!
She had a birthday party last night out at the Thomson's ranch. It was a lot of fun!

Opening presents with Landon.

She loved her new John Deere bike!

And of course this little cowgirls birthday wouldn't be complete without going for a ride.

Landon was a little skeptical.

Summer Lovin!

Part 1

Well hello there! There have been so many things that I want to blog about and just not enough time to do it. But lets take a recap of July.

July 1st was celebrated on the 2nd with my mom's family. We ate delicious food and visited on my parents new half finished deck. After lunch a game started that looked fun for the participants and was entertaining to watch for the spectators. It was so great to have all the family around. It doesn't happen often enough. Thanks everyone for coming out!

What a poser!

July 4th Mark and I were able to attend his cousin Heather's wedding. I love weddings! They remind me of my own and I get so excited for the couple. Heather and Kyle's was no exception. They are so great for each other and will love being married! We are so excited for them. Their day was beautiful! Windy, but beautiful. We were able to attend the ceremony and the whole time this baby was doing flips in my belly. It's never been so excited for so long. I guess it recognized what an important event was taking place.
Congratulations Heather and Kyle!

That weekend was the Toth family reunion. I'm slowly starting to learn who everyone is. One day I'll actually feel comfortable enough to call someone by their first name at one of those events until then it was good to get reacquainted with everyone.

It was soo HOT that day so the kids and Mark and Peter had a water fight. It looked very refreshing!

Grandma even helped with providing ammunition.
