Happy Halloween!

Last night was our ward Halloween party. We had a hard time coming up with ideas. We threw around ideas like Archie and Veronica and even amino acids (Mark is in biochemistry right now). We needed a costume that didn't cost anything. Our budget certainly doesn't have room for Halloween costumes. Friday night I remembered Max had been given a football onesie, so we decided to run with that idea.

Yep! I still fit into my cheer uniform!

The cutest football you ever did see.

Mark was having way too much fun with it!

And here's a few from the party. I got asked many times if I was a cheerleader for BYU.

And this is GusGus (aka Henry) He's the cutest so I'd thought I'd share. His parents dressed up as Cinderella and Prince Charming! It was awesome!
The party was fun and dressing up was fun. I love being able to dress up as a family! It's more work but it's a lot more fun!

Sunday

Sundays are pretty fun! We usually don't do much on Sundays. It's a day of study, relaxing and catching up on quality family time. Mark puts a lot of work into his studies which means we don't see him a whole lot during the week and part of Saturdays. So far he's really enjoying school. He likes his classes and he has some fun professors which make learning easier.
Today was especially needed with the week that we just had. Mark just finished his midterms. He had a paper due Thursday and midterms on Friday night and one Saturday night. I know! How lame is that?! So Max and I saw even less of him this week. I only made dinner twice because all the other nights he got home around 9 or later. As much as I hate spending my nights alone, I'm proud of him for his hard work. His stamina and commitment amazes me and I am so grateful for his dedication! Not only to his school work but also to his family. Although Mark spends lots of time studying he's doing an awesome job making sure Max and I get some attention too. He's the best and I love him to pieces!
Father-son time (which means mom gets a little break!)
Mark got pretty excited when he spread Max's hand out and realized he had a 4 note reach!
"That's half an octave and he's only 2 months old!"
We're starting him young. Mark likes to throw this ball at him. One of these days he'll actually catch it, until then we'll continue to give him credit when it lands close to his hands :)

Just chilling on the couch with Mom.

Fresh out of the bath! Check out that hair! I hope it continues to get curlier!

And here are a few more pictures of Max just incase you haven't seen them yet!

He's usually not this happy in his car seat.
I love this jacket! Green is definitely his color!
2 months old!

Max Laughed!

Yes we are so excited about it, that we are posting this video minutes after it happened. It's just too cute to keep to ourselves!

Mr. Max

This boy is starting to smile more and more and we can't get enough of it! It's so fun to see a bit of his personality.

Trying on his hockey gloves. Still a little big but his Dad was pretty anxious.

My Baby Grew Up Today

It's true. I feel like he all-of-a-sudden got bigger and can hold his head up on his own. I'm not exactly sure how it happened but it happened fast.
He's even standing up already!
This last week we went on a couple walks trying to soak up what's left of the good weather. We have such a pretty neighborhood, I know I've said it before but we do! And I love the houses here they are all so unique! Here's a couple pictures I took.
This picture was actually taken by Emily when they were here.
These are a few houses that I thought were pretty cool.

and here's a couple more pictures of Max for your enjoyment.

This is the same sleeper that Mark wore when he was a baby!

First attempt at tummy time! I think it went pretty good.

I love this picture! What a handsome boy!
